Walid Sinno

Founder and CEO

Walid brings more than 25 years of experience in energy and technology, spanning business development, mergers and acquisitions, fundraising, asset development and government negotiations.He began his career with Elf Aquitaine in Azerbaijan. He graduated from École Centrale de Lyon in 1991 with a degree in mechanical engineering and holds a master's degree in economics from IFP Energies Nouvelles, France.

Fernanda Veloso, PhD

Chief Technical Officer

Fernanda has developed European CCUS projects since 2012 and designed and coordinated the Horizon 2020 projects STRATEGY CCUS and PilotSTRATEGY.Her 20 years of technical experience cover mineral exploration, groundwater management, oil and gas, and geological storage of CO₂ and hydrogen. She holds a PhD in geological CO₂ storage from the University of Zaragoza, Spain, a master's degree in geophysics from France and a bachelor's degree in geology from Brazil.

David Moffatt, P.Eng.

Director, CCS Project Development

David brings more than 45 years of experience in energy project management, technical development and commercial delivery, including natural gas, underground gas storage and CCS.He leads multidisciplinary teams across technical, business, regulatory and risk management requirements. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in geological engineering from the University of Toronto and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).

Lorne Hammer

Senior Technical and Operations Advisor

Lorne brings more than 50 years of experience in drilling, completions and operations management, onshore and offshore, in Canada and internationally.His expertise combines project execution with strategic planning, business development and alliance building. He has extensive experience in underground gas storage and CCS projects.
