Poland CO₂ Highway
Shared infrastructure
A national network concept
C-Questra’s proposed CO₂ Highway would connect industrial clusters with a portfolio of permanent geological storage sites through a shared transport backbone. The concept includes a south–north corridor with regional branches and an eastward connection to Ukraine.
Domestic storage
Ładzice as an initial anchor
The Ładzice appraisal project provides a first Polish storage anchor for the concept. Further storage connections would follow geological qualification, testing and permitting, giving industrial users access to multiple potential destinations.
Phased development
One corridor, then wider connections
Begin with an initial corridor around qualified storage and industrial demand. Expand to a regional backbone, then a national network as further connections are validated. Routing, technical standards and access arrangements remain to be developed with industry and public authorities.
